Selection Stages

1. Computer Based Test (CBT): Objective type online examination testing candidates on General Knowledge, Reasoning, English Language, Numerical Ability, and domain-specific knowledge related to the post applied for. Duration typically 2-3 hours with 200 questions carrying 200 marks.

1. Skill/Proficiency Test (for specific posts): Applicable for Stenographer (shorthand and typing test), Data Entry Operator (data entry speed test), and similar posts requiring specific skill verification. Qualifying in nature, marks may not be counted for final merit.

1. Document Verification: Shortlisted candidates based on CBT performance are called for original certificate verification including educational qualifications, caste certificates, age proof, experience certificates, and other relevant documents. Discrepancies lead to disqualification.

1. Medical Examination: Selected candidates undergo mandatory medical fitness examination by authorized medical board to ensure they meet the physical and medical standards required for the post. Candidates must be found medically fit.

1. Final Merit List: Final selection is based on performance in Computer Based Test (and skill test where applicable). Merit list is prepared category-wise and institute-wise. Candidates are offered appointment based on their rank, preference and vacancy availability across AIIMS institutions.

Candidates need to login using their registration number and password/date of birth to download their admit card. No physical admit card will be sent by post.
